The Mayor’s Office of Racial Equity (ORE) invites staff to participate in the upcoming Racial Equity Action Plan Community Engagement Forum, a citywide conversation designed to help shape the next iteration of the District’s REAP framework.
This forum will bring together community members, government staff, and students to review and discuss REAP priorities, explore language and initiatives that guide the District’s equity strategy, and share insights that will inform the 2027–2030 plan. Attendees will also hear directly from high school students from Banneker Academic High School and Coolidge High School as they present their perspectives on advancing racial equity, and will have the opportunity to engage with Bard High School Early College’s Youth Entrepreneur Institute students as they showcase products developed through their program.
